WCC is an official Chapter of the American Planning Association (APA) and encompasses one of the largest geographic areas of the association, consisting of the states of Wyoming, South Dakota, and North Dakota. WCC is a 170-plus member organization that advocates excellence in community planning.
We continue to grow and prosper as people are drawn to our mountain vistas, our grassland prairies, our outstanding recreational opportunities and friendly communities. We are the home of such incredible natural areas such as Yellowstone National Park, Devil’s Tower, Mount Rushmore, the Black Hills, the Badlands and more. As we work with the challenges of growth, the environment and our changing world, we look to the best of planning practices to help us make responsible decisions that leave a lasting impact on our communities.
